It's a Boy!

Name announcement: Elliot James

It has been awhile sense I wrote something. A lot has changed in our life, all good of course. Back in March we found I was pregnant and now expecting a baby boy due any day now. It has been a pretty easy pregnancy for the most part. The first 4 months were the worst as I had lots of morning sickness.  But nothing to bad that I was not able to handle. I have been able to wear my wedding ring the entire pregnancy and have not had much swallowing. Other then my feet every once in awhile when on them to much. Only gained about 7 pounds, I was already chubby before my weight just shifted around. We are very excited to become parents and looking forward to teaching our son new things and showing him the world.

Another exciting announcement we bought our first home in July and are loving me first time homeowners. It's a three bedroom, one bath house in north east Salem. It's the perfect first home for us to raise our son in. It's on a busy street but in a good neighbor to raise him in and that was one our requirements when we looking for a house. So this year so far has been quite good year for us. Becoming first time parents and first homeowners all at once. We would have not thought it would have happen at the same time. If you asked or told us last year that we would have been buying a house and having a baby at the same we would have told you are crazy. We would not change for anything and very excited to be experiencing this adventure together.

Summer Time Camping!

It has been a good summer, we went camping at south beach in Newport, Or. It was windy and cold most of the time but that's typical weather for the beach. Our tents blew all over and we had to re tied our tents many times. Other than that we had a really fun time. We played on the beach, played games and did a laddered golf tournament.

 We decide to buy a fake tree this year. It is 4ft fir tree, much easier clean up then i real tree. But i do miss the smell of a real tree. We will get a real one again when we have kids, so they can experience a real one. Until then its perfect tree for just us.

 It was a great Christmas, and we got lots good presents. It was fun to celebrating Christmas with our nephew this year and seeing it trough his eyes.  We are looking forward to another new year and seeing what challenges it brings us. Hope you all have happy new year!!

My First Quilt

I am making my first quilt, its called a Happy Daze Quilt, made with 8 quilters quarters. Its will be a wall quilt when its all done. I have everything cut out and now I am sewing all the pieces together. My mom helped me get started and show me how to do it.

Drivers Ed

Drivers Ed is going great so far. Next is the week of class and will be just driving days. Day 1 of driving i did well in the chemeketa parking lot. But I did run over the curb. I learned how to back up and park. Need work more on parking. Day 2 of driving drove in residential, went very well. Learned how to yield to oncoming traffic and work more on my turning and stopping. Also need to work more on my signaling. I am starting to get more confident on driving and not so scared about it anymore. My next drive day is hopefully this weekend with my parents and then sure driving with my teacher on wed after class. I will keep you all update as more comes along.

Its been awhile!!

Its been awhile sense I have wrote in my blog. Work is going good and we are busy this summer. I started Driver's Ed this summer term and it is going well so far. Its the fasts way for me to learn to drive and learn the right way. LOL!! Hope to have my license in a few months from now. 

We moved to a new apartment. Just down the road from our old apartment. Its a lot nicer place and little bigger. It also has washer and dryer hook ups. So we become first time washer and dryer owners this last week.

 We love them and are really enjoying them.

 

We plan to stay here for a long time, even start our family here in about three years or so. I am beginning to get things unpacked when I have time between work and school. Got some pictures hung and for the most part everything is beginning to get into its place. 

Last week we went and picked strawberries. It was the first time for me picking strawberries at farm. I told Kyle we got to make it tradition every summer from now on. It was really fun and we love oregon strawberries. We got a big bowl full. I don't know how to make Jam but I would love to learn. I frozen some for later and we ate the rest. I did make a cobbler with last of the ones we saved out.

Well that sums up our last few months. The year has by fast for us, we will be married a year already in august. It feels like we just got married. It has been amazing tho and we have had our share of challenges. But I would not change it for anything. Look forward to many more years of marriage.

How things are going!!!

Things are going great. I finally got a job in February working at hotel in laundry and breakfast bar. I am really enjoying it and glad to making income to help us out. Still going to school to get my CNA and plan to start the program this fall. We recently buy a fish. Had some some sad experiences with them. First fish we bought was four goldfish they died the next day. Then got Betta fish that also died the next day. Then we had water tasted because we something was wrong with,  but it tested to be good. So we asked petco why our fish were dieing. They said could have been sick fish. So we bought another Betta fish and did more research. Got all the proper stuff we need and now this new fish we named Charlie seems to being great.  

We are looking forward to summer and going on first camping trip as an married couple in July to Beverly beach. It will be fun trip for us. I hope to go a lighthouse for the first time and maybe Ripley believe it or not.

Its our first married Christmas. We are enjoying it and looking forward to Christmas. I decorated our apartment and our first Christmas Tree. I put my Christmas Village and our stockings. Its nice to enjoy the whole month of December. I made my own Sugar Cookies this year. It was fun Kyle helped me decorated some. We are having annual family Christmas cookie baking day tomorrow, and I made M & M cookies to share with everyone. They turned out very good. Smell wonderful!

Our new Disney Ornament we got on our honeymoon in Disneyland.

This will be a Christmas that we remember forever. Starting our own family traditions, still in the creating process. Our first tradition is starting a photo album of all the things we buy to add to our Holiday collection. By taking a photo of it and then add journalism with it say why we got it and what it represent and means to us. Its great start to our family traditions and many more decide on and to come this year. More in future years as things change.

Enjoying Life!

We are enjoying married life and loving being together everyday. We love our apartment and still trying to use to living on our own. Its a big adjournment for both of us, sense we were so use to living at home. We are starting to feel comfortable living on our own but its taking so time. Soon it will feel like home to us but for now its still kinda weird. I'm looking for a job and just being a house wife. I hope to get a job soon. I have applied many things and got turned down by a few places. I keep applying places and keeping head up. A job will along for me soon enough, I'm sure God has a plan for me.

Great News

We got approved for apartments today! Next we are going to pick one out. And next I will no later be a t-mobile customer. I'm switching over to Verizon with Kyle. Its getting so close and exciting. Four more weeks left. My last day working Snoopeland is next Wednesday. I will miss all the Kids and teachers. Hope to find a Job soon after get back from my honeymoon.

Excited One Month To Go

As it gets closer to the wedding being only 47 days to go (one month). I have began packing and filled many Goodwill bags already. May have more to come! I have four weeks left of work at Snoopeland Day Care. I'm giving my notice to work this week. My last day will July 14th. I will be going camping with my parents and Kyle that following weekend and photographing my first wedding. It will be so much fun. I will be moving down to Salem august 1st. Some days I can't believe its almost time to walk down the aisle and become Mrs. Lynch. It won't really hit me until Saturday morning August 6th that I'm getting married. I feel like its happening now but wedding gritters have not set in yet. That day I will be excited and nervous at the same time. I may even cry when I first see Kyle at the altar. He may even cry, he doesn't think so, but I think he will when he sees me. It will be the best day our lives. The day we have been looking forward to for 2years. I will miss all my friends and my parents up here in Scappoose but I will come back and visit often. I will see my parents when they come to my grandmas for family stuff. It will be a big change for me but it's all worth it in the end.

How Life is treating me!!!

Its going good and things are starting to come reality with the wedding only four months away now. It seemed like so faraway the other day and now its getting close each day and month. Kyle and I are getting so excited more and more each day. We are totally ready to start our life together! There are days where we wish the wedding was tomorrow but we get through it. Some days its tough living a hour apart from each other but we get through and its only making a relationship only stronger. We have started pre-marital class now and they are going good. Have our second class on Thursday. I'm still working in the nursery are church and  its going really good. So I would have to say right now life is treating me really great. Couldn't ask for a more happier life!

New Job!!!

I got offered to work in nursery at church on Sundays for the next three months. Its a paid position and help out a lot. I'm so excited about it and can't wait to start in February. I'm still working at snooppeland as well during the week.

ITS THE NEW YEAR

Its finally 2011 the year I'm getting married. Closer it gets more excited Kyle and I get. Weddings plans are coming along great. Things are beginning to fall into place. Still crossing off the days and counting down 211 days left to go. For Christmas we got lots household items and loved them. We got cookware set from his parents and Kitchen Utensils Set from his brother Andy and his sister in law Tara. Pot holders and towels from Andy, Tara, Grandma Janice, Grandma Bonnie and Papa Hank. Also got tools for our house as well. It was a great Christmas and this year Christmas will be even better being our first Christmas married. We Can't wait!!

The Months Are Going By Fast......

The months are going by fast. Seven more months to go until the wedding and Aug I'm moving down to Salem. I'm crossing off the days on the calendar and counting down.  We changed our honeymoon plans still going to Disneyland but decided not to get the city pass. We decide that we want more time at Disneyland, so we going to spend 5 days at Disneyland with a hopper pass and then go to Universal Studios one day.  It will be a blast and we cant not wait to go.

My Wedding

My Wedding is getting closer everyday. Only 326 days but to make it sound shorter its in 10 months. We have decide to make our own invitations. This last weekend Kyle, Me and His Mom went shopping for supplies and got greats deals at michaels on sale for stamps, ribbon and ink. Also got good deal on paper at the paper mill. So that will be good and it will be fun to make the invitations. I am crossing off the days on calender to until wedding. I get more and more  excited about it everyday as it gets closer.

My Dream Dress

I found my dream wedding dress and received it already. I order online from romantic gowns. I know still to early but it was on sale and I didn't want to miss out on the sale price. It fits perfect and only few fixes in the bust and may need shorting. I am going to have my grandma make a matching veil out the shawl that came with it cuz i wont wear the shawl with the dress. Its the same material that veils are made out of so it should be nice to sew together. My grandma is very good a sewing, So i am know it will be in good hands and be the way i want it. Santiam Place
